Arroyo Lupine Lady Bug Party!

Arroyo Lupine in bloom at Los Angeles State Historic Park

We are just starting to see patches of purple exploding across the park and the ladybugs seem to have noticed as well. We’re hoping that this spring brings a sea of Arroyo Lupines, much like last year, but we just have to wait and see. In the mean time, if you keep your eyes peeled you can see small patches of them through out LASHP.
FLOWER FACT The Arroyo Lupine is a member of the pea family!
